The Lord Jesus is working mightily through the ministry efforts of Christ Commission for Romania, Inc.. The sending out of missionaries, the raising up of Bible schools and the hands-on work of many dedicated Christian lay people are changing the country of Romania. This former Communist country is being transformed into a God-fearing nation. The work is hard and the task is more than we can do but with God, all things are possible.

John Dolinschi was born in 1953 in Suceave, Romania to dedicated Christian parents. After receiving the Holy Spirit he was born again. For John being a Christian in a Communist nation required a full committment to Christ. Recieving threats as a child because of his Christian stand only intensified John’s dedication to the Lord.
Romania was under the control of the megalomaniac, Ceausescu, who punished and persecuted committed Christians with prison, fines, loss of jobs and even death.
As an adult, John felt the call by the Spirit to leave his country and receive Pastoral training to become a missionary. Leaving his family, fiance and all that was home to him, John risked his life wading through water channels, avioding communist guards at their towers and crawling along freezing ground for days at a time. Finally, after spending time in a Yugoslavian prison, he made it to America.
Graduating from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas, John thought that he would go to another country, but God said in many ways, "Go back to Romania! And be my missionary there." He made a daring entrance back into Romania and in the city of Timasoria he started "underground" Bible Schools. He also was a contact for other Christian organizations smuggling Bibles for the Lord Jesus.
Since then, many missionaries have gone out from Pastor John's Bible Schools. He has been a part of establishing other Schools and ministries throughout Romania.
