Our youth camps are seated in the beautiful mountains of Romania. We offer a scene only God could create full of woodlands, meadows, and mountains, that host hundreds of kids and thousands of youth for various weeks in the summer.
Our camp has a great staff, who love the Lord and this ministry. These kids are able to hear about the Gospel, share in love and meals, attend Bible workshops and sing songs. Each year hundreds are saved and leave camp with a hope they never had before. To most this is the highlight of their year. God is at work here, and we hope you will let the Lord minister through us to you.

Greetings from Romania!
Over the years camp has proved to be a special place, time, and environment where young people are free to express themselves. Many youth find themselves especially open to the Spirit of the Lord. More than 500 young people came from all over the country for a week in July. Many groups in attendance were first time witnesses to the power of camp. Whether alone or accompanied by their pastor or youth leaders all felt the amazing presence of the Lord. Truly the most remarkable scene was so many young people so hungry for God and so open for everything from worship, prayer, especially for the ministry of the Word and personal ministry.

Our days begin with some good old fashion prayer. This then leads into the morning service, starting at 9, with songs, prayers, testimonies, and messages with various personal challenges. An optional seminar follows in the afternoon, which most youth attend. The main service of the day starts at 7 p.m. and ends usually well after midnight! During this amazing week people become saved, many recommit their lives to the Lord, some receive direction for training in the ministry, others are emotionally and physically healing, and nearly all are filled with the Holy Spirit.

For many of the kids a good diet of healthy foods is a rare treat.

Many youth find a new confidence while attending camp. The freedom of expression is something that doesn’t happen in their own churches.
Several youth groups from the United States join us at the summer camps. Contact us and plan to be a part of this summer's kids and youth camps.

A certain group coming for the first time, formed of Pentecostals, Brethren and Orthodox young people had an interesting testimony. The leader told us at the end of the camp that they were scared the first night, not knowing what to think of the way of doing things – totally different than what they were used to! But they went home with 3 people from their group saved, and most of the others totally transformed!
Another group of first comers asked me about the possibility of doing about 2 days of tourism during the camp – which I agreed with. After the second day of camp I asked the leader of the group when they want to do that, he said “You must be kidding me, we are not going to miss what’s happening in the camp for some tourism!”
The great encouragement for us is the fact that there are lasting results – young people go home transformed and we hear it from their parents, pastors, and friends. Things like starting prayer meetings in the middle of the summer and keeping them going, changed behavior towards their parents and peers, being more committed to the Lord, are some of the things that encourage us to keep going, in spite of all the difficulties and costs of organizing an event like that.
Another testimony that I have to mention came from a young lady from Voronet, the village where our campsite with the new building is. That’s where we had the 1998 Youth Camp. She came to our church the Sunday after camp this year and she said: “In 1998, when you came and did the camp up on the valley, I was a high school girl that spent most of her time in the monastery’s courtyard, being good friends with the nuns there. What you don’t know is the fact that the people of the village along with the nuns intended to block the road and prevent you to get to the campsite! But since it didn’t happen, I came the last night of camp, when people gave their testimonies – boldly came forward, mentioned that I am an Orthodox believer, and that in my bible says that when you pray, you get in your private room, close the door behind you pray to your Father in heaven. What is it that you do here? But to my surprise, no one spoke against me – that’s what I was expecting, because I was ready to fight!” Now, she’s a strong believer, filled with the Holy Spirit and on fire for God – she asked us to pray for her village and work together to see more people coming to the Lord there!
Thank the Lord with us for everything He is doing and for giving us the privilege to be His instruments for blessing others! You have a part of it, because over the years you’ve been instrumental in extending God’s Kingdom in Romania! TO HIM BE ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE!
